We check for drug interactions between all of your medications, prescription and OTC.
We help identify and reduce possible side effects from your medications.
We simplify and organize your medications to help decrease confusion and side effects.
We help locate cost-effective medication alternatives whenever possible.
We monitor conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes over time.
RICKER PHARMACY is pleased to offer this Medication Therapy Management program to assist patients with all of their medication needs, allowing pharmacists to work collaboratively with local prescribers to enhance quality of care.
We believe educating patients on appropriate medication use improves adherence, helps patients reach their therapeutic goals, and prevents medication errors. Our pharmacists conduct follow-up phone calls to monitor symptoms and compliance.
Our counseling services assist in selecting the most cost-effective and clinically-appropriate generic or brand medications. If we find a better option, we'll consult you before any changes occur.
We provide a master medication list and action plan explaining the safest, most effective use of your medications — helpful for all your visits with other providers.
Our pharmacists carefully document all MTM services provided. Any changes to a prescription will only be made with prior authorization from your provider.
